Real People, Real Love and Real Life
I have been overwhelmed by the ever-flowing love I have received throughout my life from an endless amount of people. I have met at the crossroads of life with genuine and true people, people who look beyond the disability, and who have taken time to stop and listen, then after hearing my dreams, visions and ambitions, they have believed in me, then selflessly and willingly passed on and shared with me their knowledge, but above all, these are people who have all shown Love!
I have connected with this immeasurable number of people who I speak of. These are real people, in real life. My Mum, Dad, My Aunty Susan, Mick, Tony, Brian and Karen are just a few who without their support and selfless generosity, ‘Lee’s Photography Online’ and/or, ‘Elevatedby’ would not exist today, therefor I would not be writing this blog post and introducing the work which I have been asked to be a part of in Romania.
I could not continue writing this article without mentioning my Aunty Brenda who introduced, or if you will ‘connected me through Jesus to God. who “is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.”
Connecting to Romania
At one of the many crossroads of life, somewhere between 2013 and 2014, Through my Mum and her occupation, I was connected with Esther, and then a little later Ruth, Esther’s Mum, and then more recently Goe. For three to four years, through Esther and Ruth I have followed the story of the work which the people of ‘East Life Water’ in Romania are doing.
On 22nd March 2016 along with Esther and Ruth, I flew out to Romania to connect with this amazing family, and to see first hand the work they are doing. Nothing could have prepared me for some of the sights of loneliness, hardship and desperation afflicted by poverty on some of the people who ‘East Life Water’ introduced us to. This was real loneliness, real hardship and real desperation, and it is happening to real people, in real life.
Introducing ‘East Life Water’ and The Work They Do
Allow me to introduce you to the people of ‘East Life Water’ and the work they are doing in Romania. They welcomed me with open and loving arms into their home as if I was one of their own. It is their faith, and their strength through the Lord Jesus that the work of ‘East Life Water’ is connecting people, enabling them to work together towards alleviating the loneliness, hardship and desperation that we witnessed.
Connecting People Through Photography and Film and a Website.
It is a privilege to have been asked by ‘East Life Water’ to be part of the amazing work that they are doing. It humbles me to be able to tell you that as of the 22nd March 2016, using the skills and knowledge in Photography, Film and Website design which I have acquired through the people who have willingly passed on and shared with me their knowledge. I will be building a website, an online presence which we all believe has the potential of helping ‘East Life Water’ by connecting people on an international scale, but all in God’s timing, and as He causes it to do so.
